Parenting Classes
Live Connected
A series of no-cost workshops to support YOU on your motherhood journey. Get support and meet other new moms as you learn about topics including effective communication, goal setting, financial literacy, and relationship skills.
Fatherhood Foundations
A series of no-cost workshops for new and expectant fathers. Meet other new dads as you take the next step toward fatherhood with workshops on parenting skills, financial literacy, healthy relationships, and supporting your partner through pregnancy.
Safe Sleep Classes
Learn current best practices to put your baby to sleep safely and reduce the risk of SIDS. Plus, receive parenting tips to help you both get a restful night’s sleep. If you don’t have a safe place for your baby to sleep, Morning Star will provide you with a portable crib or playard at no cost.
Family Support
Community Referrals
Schedule a family support appointment with a Morning Star patient advocate. Your advocate will assess your needs and give you referrals for resources in the community. Depending on your individual circumstances, we may be able to assist with referrals for housing, medical services, food assistance, and more.
Baby Clothing and Supplies
During a family support appointment, receive baby clothing and supplies — including diapers and formula — to support your family. *Items provided are based on client need and availability.
